Picasso, Miro, Chigal are his main artistic inspirations, however, Paul draws a great deal from his surroundings such as Musical images related to family muscians and, like a voyeur, watching peoples faces. Simple abstract forms also fascinate Paul, simple processes that are gravity related such as a ball bouncing or an object falling.

Future ideas include practical purposes high fires stoneware, suitable for outdoors, reasonable temperate, matt & satin finishes - not high gloss. Combinations of materials such as glass ceramics water features - he also hopes to do more of.

Please enjoy this on-line exhibition then feel free to contact Paul direct to order available pieces or commission new work. Orders and comissions are detailed on his website www.ceramicartist.co.nz
