Donnamaree Hampton // Fine Artist - landscape and animal painter

Hello. My husband and I farm in the beautiful Maruia Valley past Murchison, but I was bought up in the Nelson Lakes District (Lake Rotoiti) so my passion for the great outdoors and country life was forged from a very early age.

I mainly paint in oils but love to do pencil and charcoal as well, my main topic of interest is landscapes, I have been painting on and off for about 10 years but only ventured into landscapes in 2009. I used to just paint animals but since widening my horizons I have been really inspired, I especially love our beautiful South Island scenes and hope to see more of the North Islands beauty in the future.
